On Mother’s Day I think about all the love you are, and in this year and every year, you are the best, by far! I thank God you are my Mom, with many years of loving care; for me as a child and as an adult, you were so selfless and always there. I thank God you gave birth to me, and a home of Godly light; to know and love our Lord so sweet, the foundation of our lives so bright. I thank God you loved and cared for me, with wisdom, grace and peace; the rod of discipline did yield, good work and rest, with great increase. I thank God that you believed in me, that God would use me well; a life well lived of righteousness, in all good things, excel. I thank God you are my Mom, indeed, Thank you, Mom, you are my gift; from God’s own hand of loving grace, my song will so uplift.
