In October 2018, David Carter — a devoted father, hard worker, and beloved son from Melvindale, Michigan — was reported missing by his family. Days later, his dismembered remains were found scattered along I-75 in Ohio, 100 miles from home. Police believe his girlfriend, Tamera "Tammy" Williams, shot him while he slept, dismembered his body, and fled.
