It took some of the fun out of it when they weren’t interested in competing and didn’t care if I won. As much as I might have liked competition, I don’t remember ever competing to be the worst. Who would want to claim that title? Even when I was little, and my parents would say, “Last one in bed is the rotten egg!” no one wanted to be last!
