Yvette talks with ZhuZha Akova who shares her amazing story of growing up in Ukraine and immigrating to the United States to later become an actress, producer, screenwriter, and director. ZhuZha has performed in numerous New York theatre productions and award-winning independent films. She founded Koshka Films, her production company dedicated to bold, mission-driven, and female-forward storytelling. Her most recent venture continues to be working on her award-winning short film Klara's Box which she has written the feature-length adaptation to produce and direct the film.
