As Australia and Japan marks the 50th anniversary of our Basic Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation in 2026, I’ve been reflecting on my own journey of over 30 years between the two countries. Recently, at a networking event at the Australian Embassy, I was reminded of something truly important. Today, I’d love to share the one key element that creates meaningful and genuine connections. 🎧Podcast Vol.254【国際パーティー】会話で一番大切なこと〜What truly matters in conversations at international parties? 皆さんこんにちは。Sayuriです。今日は質問があります。 Q) 国際イベントやグローバルパーティーなどの機会で、 1番大切なコミュニケーションは何だと思いますか？オーストラリアと日本は2026年、日豪友好協力基本条約の署名50周年を迎えます。 10代から30年以上、日本とオーストラリアを行き来する中で、この体験が子育てやキャリアなど、人生全体を形づくってきたのだと感じています。多国籍・ダイバーシティーなコミュニケーションから学んだことが大きいなと感じています。先日、オーストラリア大使館のネットワーキングイベントに参加させていただき、外交に携わる方々との新たな出会いや会話の中で、このような環境を楽しめるようになっていることに、感謝の気持ちが溢れてきました。 2つの国を行き来する中で、日本の常識からは考えられないような、失敗やリスクを乗り越える体験を通して人生で大切な「10個の力」。1つずつの力がとっても奥深い力です。この日も改めて、雑談や会話の中から平和につながったり、コラボレーションにつながったり、お互いを理解して、サポートし合う関係性ができていくなと改めて実感しました。…
