In that 2,000-year-old sacred forest, time seemed to stand still. I felt a profound sense of peace—the essence of a delicate aesthetic like Wabi-sabi. This spirit is woven into every film, product, and service we create; it is the very soul of our identity. So, what comes to mind when you hear the phrase “Japanese Identity”? こんにちは。Sayuriです。前回は、国際イベントでの会話で対話で大切なことについて一緒に考えてみましたが、もう一つ大切なこと、それが、今日のエピソードにもつながります。 🎧Podcast Vol.255: 日本の唯一無二のアイデンティティー〜The Uniqueness of Japanese Identity Q）あなたは、アイデンティティーってなんだと思いますか？先日京都を訪れたときに、下鴨神社の奇跡と言われている「糺の森」にも足を運ぶことができました。人の手が入っていない、約 2000 年前の植生のままの森を散策していると、時間が急に止まったような感覚になりました。その日は雨が降っていたので、しっとりとした森の中でゆっくり呼吸をしていると空気がとてもおいしいなと、もう一度深く空気を吸い込みました。この森の静寂と、川のせせらぎ。もっと暗い森なのかなとイメージしていたんですが、広葉樹なので、光を通す隙間があって明るいんです。この「光を通す隙間」が、太陽のような明るさではなくて、キラキラと静かに光っていて、美しかったです。風の音や木漏れ日の中にいるだけで心が落ち着きます。…
