About this episode

This episode covers the infamous case of Christa Pike, a teenage murderer from Knoxville, Tennessee.

In today's episode, Misti brings you another case that is local to us. Not only is it local, but it is infamous in the true crime community as she will be talking about the case of 17-year old cold blooded murderer, Christa Pike. Teenage insecurities and jealously have a tendency to produce overly dramatic and at times extreme behaviors, but in 1996 Christa took this to a whole other level. While attending Job Core in Knoxville, Tennessee, she would brutally attack and murder classmate, Colleen Slemmer in one of the most heinous crimes we have ever covered. Her overall lack of remorse and actual pride in the crime would soon lead her to the most extreme punishment possible by the court system. As of this episode release (3/11/26), Christa is currently scheduled to be executed in less than 6 months and will be the first woman executed in the state of Tennessee in more than 200 years.
