About this episode

The episode discusses the pilot of the anime 'Pluto', exploring its adaptation and themes.

Pluto! A slavish adaptation of the reimagining of Atom (known as ”Astro Boy” in the West) by Naoki Urasawa, Pluto has been called by many as the best anime on Netflix right now. Is that true? What do we think? Dan hosts this episode and guides Sara and Marvin into the world of Pluto, a grittier, more realistic take on the anime that was originally a Disney-like allegory for Pinnochio. We watch pilots of TV shows, old and new, and then ask, ”Would You Stay Tuned?” New episodes... whenever! Find more stuff we do at https://www.FugitiveFrames.com
