About this episode

The episode explores a strange experience shared by a local resident of William Creek SA.

We’re leaning into the kooky and spooky today as we head to the tiny township of William Creek SA, population about 20, in an area the local first nations people call Arabana country. It’s gibber plain around there – red soil, arid, desert landscapes covered in a layer of pebbles and rocks. Pete, originally from Alice Springs, took a job working at the local pub about three years ago. He had his first day off coming up, so asked a local elder where to go for a nice walk. The elder suggested a local water hole, so Pete took off for the waterhole the next day. Unfortunately, Pete got a bit lost, and what happened next was very strange, to say the least. We'll let him tell you the story. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
