This inimitable, hilarious, and quip-tastic D’arcy Carden joins us on the couch for the first time to discuss her new ensemble show ‘Five Star Weekend,’ where she plays an over-eager pal with zero social awareness alongside stellar cast including Jennifer Garner, Chloe Sevigny, Regina Hall, and Gemma Chan, to name a few! But we also had to get into her iconic other roles, specifically Janet from ‘The Good Place,’ her early years juggling improv at Upright Citizens Brigade, and popping into numerous eps of ‘Broad City’ thanks to her fellow UCB crew Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson. Oh and nannying for none other than Bill Hader who she ultimately wound up on screen with ‘Barry’ alongside Henry Winkler. Phew.
