As I read His Word and spent time in prayer, I felt the Holy Spirit illuminate that one word in a deeper way. He showed me that everything God does in us is a process. We are always becoming.When we love someone, we don't instantly arrive at perfect love. There may be that initial attraction or affection, but because we are imperfect people, love grows. We become more patient. We become more understanding. We become more committed. We become more in love as we LEARN ABOUT one another and choose one another day after day.The same is true in our relationship with God.We were created in His image, but we only discover who He created us to be by drawing closer to the Creator. He alone knows the purpose He designed for our lives. The closer we walk with Him, the more He shapes our hearts, renews our minds, and transforms our character. Becoming is an action…
