Anti-Claudin 6 Antibody Drug Conjugate Benefits Patients with Advanced Platinum-Resistant Ovarian Cancer with Low Toxicity An interview with: Tao Zhu, MD, Chief Physician and Vice President, Zhejiang Cancer Hospital, China SAN DIEGO, USA— The investigational drug QLS5132 had “remarkable anti-tumor activity” in patients with late-stage platinum resistant ovarian cancer, according to data reported at the American Association of Cancer Research 2026 Annual Meeting. The drug is an antibody drug conjugate targeting the transmembrane protein claudin 6, which has almost no expression in healthy tissue, but is expressed in some cancer tissues, including ovarian cancer. Tao Zhu MD, chief physician and vice president of Zhejiang Cancer Hospital in China told the AACR about the encouraging response rates they noted among 28 patients with ovarian cancer, with manageable toxicities.
