About this episode

Jeremey Jeansonne shares his journey from professional golfer to founder of a successful audio/video integration company.

This is Automation Unplugged, and I'm Ron Callis. My guest today is Jeremey Jeansonne, the founder of MDAV, a fast-growing audio/video company he launched in 2010 and took full-time in 2017. What started as a side hustle is now a $2 million operation delivering high-end AV and automation solutions across Louisiana and Texas. Before that, Jeremey was a professional golfer from 2007 to 2010—where late nights in hotel rooms led him to start selling TV mounts on Amazon, sparking the entrepreneurial journey that would become MDAV. In 2011, he co-founded Sports Video Innovations, where he helped develop a groundbreaking camera system built into a football helmet, safe for full-contact play. The technology was tested at the NCAA with Fox and CBS, featured in NFL pregame with the San Francisco 49ers, and used in MLB broadcasts with Fox and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Today, he works with major clients like Caesars Casinos, including designing and installing the sportsbook at Horseshoe Casino in Louisiana.
