Christi And Kelly CALL OUT Shows COPYING Dance Moms | Back To The Barre
About this episode
Christi and Kelly discuss reality TV shows that mimic the Dance Moms formula and share personal anecdotes from their experiences.
Christi and Kelly are back for a mini episode, and this time they are calling out the reality TV shows that keep trying to recreate the Dance Moms formula. After Christi shows Kelly the new series Team Moms: Baseball (that's produced by Kim Kardashian), they immediately notice how familiar it all feels — competitive kids, intense parents, a name that sounds a little too close, and even a look that reminds them of Dance Moms. They also talk about Ice Moms, the version that never fully got off the ground, and why networks keep coming back to the same Dance Moms idea. Later, Christi and Kelly catch up on Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro, and the reality TV opportunities other casts seem to get. Christi also shares a sweet (but awkward) Teen Choice Awards memory involving Hayden Panettiere, Selena Gomez, and the Dance Moms girls. Welcome to Back to the Barre, the ultimate podcast channel where Kelly Hyland and Christi Lukasiak from Dance Moms spill the tea, share the laughs, and take you behind the scenes of your favorite reality TV moments! 🎥✨ Join us as we relive the wild drama of pyramid days, outrageous competitions, and unforgettable moments that made Dance Moms a pop…
