Kreider Eyes Boston Return | Boston Bruins News
About this episode
Chris Kreider is a potential free agent return to the Boston Bruins, raising questions about roster adjustments and team chemistry.
Chris Kreider, the 34-year-old Massachusetts native and proven scorer with 22 goals and 28 assists last season, is set to become a free agent after his Ducks contract was terminated — sparking buzz about a potential return to Boston. With the Bruins boasting over $5 million in cap space and needing power-play depth, Kreider’s talent and fit are undeniable. But roster crunches loom: with key players like Casey Mittelstadt locked in, adding Kreider could mean reshuffling roles — possibly creating room for younger talent like James Hagens. While timing and chemistry align, it’ll take some maneuvering to make it work. Keep an eye on this one as training camp nears.
