About this episode
The episode explores the interconnectedness of knowing and not knowing in spiritual growth, using the sun and moon as metaphors for these processes.
The sun and moon represent the unified spiritual processes of knowing and not knowing, or advancement and setback. While the sun follows a constant path of clear perception, the moon's cycle of waxing and waning reflects the necessary moments of darkness and withdrawal that allow a person to build the vessels needed to receive infinite divine light. Because both states are equal and essential for spiritual progression, the moon was initially created as a "big light" before being diminished. Ultimately, true growth is not a linear, day-by-day advancement, but a lifelong journey where life's setbacks and periods of "not knowing" serve as the exact mechanism for building greater maturity, perception, and closeness to the Divine. This class is based on Likutey Moharan lesson 24. For more on this lesson: linktr.ee/breslovtherapy_lesson_24 If you have been inspired by this class/lecture please share it with your friends.
