Pillanatképek 2.0 - nyitott akadémia a második világháború történetéről.Az MTA II. világháború története albizottság előadássorozata.Az Auschwitzban 1944 tavaszán és nyarán végrehajtott tömeggyilkosság a magyarországi holokauszt legtragikusabb fejezete és annak központi történeteként ismert. Mintegy 110 ezer nő és férfi élte túl a szelekciót és a náci hadiipar utolsó, végsőkig kizsákmányolhatónak tekintett munkerőforrásává vált. Az 1944–45-ben működő kényszermunkatáborok története csak megkésve került fel a kutatások horizontjára. Előadásomban azt mutatom be, hogy a „végső megoldás” magyarországi végrehajtása nemcsak Auschwitzot tette a „holokauszt fővárosává”, hanem annak része egy unikális forrásegyüttes, a sömmerdai altáborban írt lágernaplók keletkezése is.
