About this episode

The episode discusses the lessons learned from traveling despite experiencing anxiety.

In today’s episode of Cultivate Kindness , I’m sharing something a little more personal: the lessons travelling has taught me, even as someone who has never found travel easy. For a long time, anxiety made travelling feel overwhelming rather than exciting. Being far from home, out of routine, surrounded by unfamiliar languages, food, and systems often felt like too much. And while travel can still be challenging for me, I’ve slowly learned that anxiety doesn’t disqualify us from meaningful experiences. You can feel anxious and still grow. You can feel anxious and still create memories that stay with you. In this episode, I talk openly about travel anxiety, privilege, and the pressure to “see the world,” especially when social media makes travel look effortless and glamorous. I alos share the life lessons travel has taught me!
