About our guest: Venerable Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche is a high Buddhist master who was born in 1976 in Amdo, Eastern Tibet. At the age of 6, Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche entered the local Buddhist monastic school. At 11, he then moved to the Nangzi Monastery, the largest Bon monastery in Tibet. At that time, the monks of the Sowa monastery were looking for the reincarnation of their lama. At the age of 13, Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche was recognized as the 8th reincarnation of the Nyentse Tulku.
