Matt shares what it was like to live with untreated symptoms for more than a decade, the circumstances that led to him receiving his diagnosis, and how medication, support, and wellness practices have helped him remain symptom-free for more than 20 years. The conversation explores the stigma that still surrounds mental illness as well as the value of open conversations, not only about mental health, but other topics as well. He also discusses the important work being done through Mindspring Health to educate and support individuals, families, and communities.
