About this episode

Eddie Alvarado shares insights on Muay Thai, nutrition, and mental preparation for fights.

It was a pleasure to have Eddie as my guest , he's a skilled Muay Thai kickboxer, and I've already learned a lot from him in such a short amount of time. I'm sure you can as well. Hes a knowledgeable guy. He's passionate about what he does. He's had 15 fights and he's trained for 16 years. He's a head instructor at submission factory and he's ran two other gyms during his time. He also taught at Muay Thai America Gymnasium , as he was the first fighter to fight out of that gym . We talk about nutrition , fitness, and overcoming adversity. Eddie reveals what he goes through mentally to get ready for a fight , and we can all use these tactics before going through something challenging in life. Dehydration and cutting weight for bodybuilding vs. fighting. What's the difference ? Is there a healthy way to cutting weight for sports? We also discuss The book of 5 Rings and The Art of War, are on his list of books that he recommends reading for yourself ! Don't forget to add these into your library.
