Sr. Ann reflects on the Gospel readings emphasizing the need for laborers in the fields of faith.

In today’s Gospel, Jesus declares that the harvest is abundant, but the laborers are few. He looks out over the crowds and is moved with pity, for they are sheep without a shepherd. When we make a conscious decision to follow Jesus, we become laborers in His fields. We don’t have to be lost sheep, for we have a shepherd who loves us.
