About this episode

Sr. Ann reflects on the Gospel message of being the Salt of the Earth and Light of the World, emphasizing obedience to God and repentance.

In today’s Gospel, Jesus tells us that we are the Salt of the Earth, the Light of the World. If we’re obedient to God and we repent of our sin, light will begin to shine out through us. St. John Newman prayed that he could be a shining reflection of God’s light. May we do the same, so that when people look at us they don’t see us, they see Jesus. Sr Ann reflects on today’s readings: 1 Kings 17:7-16 Psalm 4:2-3, 4-5, 7b-8 Matthew 5:13-16 Sr. Ann’s Books Deeper Conversion Extraordinary Grace for Ordinary Times More of the Holy Spirit Captured By Mercy This is a public episode.
