One of the greatest revivals in history took place in Nineveh during the time of Jonah. Yet only about a century later, the same city had returned to violence, pride, and rebellion against God. The book of Nahum reminds us of a sobering truth: A spiritual victory today does not guarantee spiritual faithfulness tomorrow. Every generation must know the Lord for itself. In this message, we explore Nahum’s prophecy and discover that while God’s judgment is certain, His mercy is extraordinary. God delayed judgment on Nineveh for over 100 years, giving generation after generation the opportunity to repent. His patience is not weakness—it is grace.
