Padres Series, Offensive Breakout and Cracks in the Bullpen

From Giant Cocktails: A San Francisco Giants Baseball Podcast by Ben Henry and Matthew Henry

About this episode

The episode discusses the Giants' series win over the Padres, offensive performance, bullpen concerns, and cocktail recipes.

The Giants win a series over the Padres for the first time since 2024. Our secularists celebrate while they analyze the offensive "breakout", weird lineup changes and the usage of the bench (or lack thereof). Then they ponder the condition of the bullpen given Ryan Walker's shakiness and the injury to Jose Butto. Speaking of cocktails, today Ben is drinking a Mellow Vitello while Matthew is drinking a Chatham. Recipes below. Mellow Vitello 1 oz Whisk(e)y 1/2 oz Yellow Chartreuse 1/2 oz Elderflower liqueur 2-4 oz Club soda Combine all ingredients in a highball glass with ice. Stir gently to combine. Chatham Original 2 oz Gin 1/2 oz Ginger Liqueur (Domaine de Canton) 1/2 oz Lemon Juice Matthew's Version 2 oz Gin 3/4 oz Ginger Liqueur (hot) 3/4 oz Lemon Juice 1/4 oz Simple Syrup Shake all ingredients with ice. Strain into a chilled coupe. #doitforwilson
