About this episode

This episode explores the significance of Palm Sunday and how Jesus is revealed as King through humility and victory.

Matthew 21:5 (ESV) “Say to the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your king is coming to you, humble, and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.’ ” Palm Sunday is the first event of Holy Week, and this remarkable passage marks the beginning of the Jews’ rejection of King Jesus. It also invites us to search our hearts and consider how we are receiving Jesus as our King. Let’s explore three ways Jesus is revealed as King: the hidden King, who enters the world as a baby; the humble King, who rides into Jerusalem on a donkey; and the victorious King, who will come again in glory. “Behold your King! He comes not to be crowned by men, but to claim their hearts.” Charles Spurgeon
