We throw around words like "boomer" and "millennial" all the time, but do we actually understand what shaped those generations and why it matters for every relationship in our lives? Monique and I have been wanting to dig into this one for a while, and honestly the timing felt perfect. Right before we hit record, I was telling her about a moment with my mom and some of my high school best friends where the conversation just cracked something open. My mom offered perspective on relating to their own mothers that none of us had thought to ask for, and it landed differently coming from her. That moment is kind of what this whole episode is about.
