The wiretap is just one piece of what's now being turned over to the defense — alongside results from three separate grand juries, roughly forty terabytes of digital data from Burke's phone and iCloud, and material from fifty-four search warrants. Only about thirty percent of the evidence had reached the defense's review system as of the last hearing. The defense initially demanded a fast preliminary hearing.
