There are two examinations of Nolan Wells and nobody outside a very small circle knows what either one says. The Mississippi State Medical Examiner's Office handled the first. The family's legal team arranged the second, sending his body to Washington, D.C. Live, Tony Brueski works through the mailbag on that split — and the biggest question is the collision nobody wants to name out loud. If those two examinations don't match, what happens next? Whose science gets believed? Who decides? Neither result has been released. Cause and manner of death for the eighteen-year-old Ocean Springs athlete remain undetermined. Attorney Ben Crump indicated early on that the independent results would come quickly, and later said he hoped to share them soon. Underneath it all is the credibility problem.
