Retired food scientist Scott Brix, Board President of the Co-Op, gives us a tour of his proudest life work. After years of planning the Northern Illinois Co-Op opened its doors for service in May, 2024. The organization is "a group of neighbors who believed McHenry County deserved a grocery store rooted in local food, sustainability, and community ownership."
