Alarm troubles and pocket money wars

Charlotte and Elsa face challenges with early wake-up calls and negotiating pocket money with their parents.

Charlotte says Dad's 6:20am wake-up calls are an offence against sleep – and that string of defeated alarm clocks can testify! Dad insists it’s the only way Charlotte will get up (eventually) and they need to get to school early since both parents are teachers there... Can a compromise be found or is Charlotte doomed to be the first one through the school gates forever? Meanwhile, Elsa argues £1 a week just doesn’t stretch far enough. Especially when her parents "forget" to pay up! With secondary school around the corner, she wants more money and more control... Mum claims Elsa already gets plenty of extras and that if she wants more cash, she’ll have to step up her chores. Will Elsa negotiate a pay rise from the Bank of Mum? Which side are you on?
