The episode explores the case of the Grindr Killer, Stephen Port, and how the victims' families uncovered the truth behind the police's mishandling of the investigation.

Three bodies of young gay men have been found dead, all within a short distance of each other. These deaths are treated by the police as overdoses when there is quite obviously a pattern emerging which they fail to see. In their pockets are bottles of a drug known as GHB, none of them have a mobile phone and they're always found outside in or near to a churchyard. As the devestated families of these victims start to put the pieces together, they work out that their loved ones killer is a man who can't be too far away and they'd be right. The police knew this man, they knew what he was capable of and yet, they let him get away with it. But how did this violent predator get caught by two of his final victims family... let's find out.
