UNDERRATED MOVES: Giants Quietly Adding More Young Talent
About this episode
The episode discusses the Giants' efforts to add young talent and the implications of potential changes to the MLB Draft Lottery.
The Giants continue searching for value as they build toward 2027. We break down one of the most underrated prospects in San Francisco's improving farm system and why he could become a name Giants fans need to know. Plus, the organization adds another intriguing young player in Darren Baker, bringing Dusty Baker's son into the Giants organization and giving him an opportunity to compete for a future role. Finally, could the MLB Draft Lottery actually disappear? With the current CBA expiring before the lottery would normally take place, we explain why the system could potentially change and how that could turn the Giants' terrible 2026 record into an even more valuable draft position.
