The Kansas City Chiefs got a massive new deal done with Patrick Mahomes this week, but new money doesn't mean new wins and things are looking like the Chiefs current iteration will never win a title again. We may see an extension for Lamar Jackson soon as the Baltimore Ravens try to get ahead of his free agency, but Jackson should not sign early and see how his new coaching staff handles things. From elite to unproven, Shedeur Sanders is trying to grab back the starting quarterback job for the Cleveland Browns and this week and mandatory mini-camp he took his first steps to doing so. Cam Ward is looking to take the next step with the Tennessee Titans, but there have been struggles early. This is a common occurrence for young passers though and shouldn't be cause for concern. Kyler Murray is looking to get his career back on track with the Minnesota Vikings, but they don't seem to be making him as comfortable in that process as he would like. Finally, the Atlanta Falcons quarterback situation is one of the more interesting in the NFL, but Tua Tagovialoa has a big advantage on Michael Penix.
