This month I’m starting something new — a simple end-of-month reflection called What I’m Noticing Right Now. What I’ve Been Noticing At the end of February, I felt really burnt out. As a business owner, I’m making decisions all day long — and by evening, I had nothing left. That showed up as scrolling on my phone… even though it didn’t leave me feeling good. What’s Been Helping One simple shift made a big difference. I wrote down things I actually wanted to do (reading, puzzles, journaling, etc.), put them in a jar, and now I just pick one when I’m tired. No decision needed — and it’s been so helpful. What I’m Loving The Mirror Visitor Quartet — a fantasy series that gave my mind a break from real life Let It Go by Peter Walsh — a reminder that clutter isn’t just physical, it’s mental too What I’m Watching Homeland (with boundaries — one night a week) Call the Midwife (calming and comforting) Shrinking (fun and something to look forward to) What’s Still Feeling Hard I’m still noticing how important it is to support myself before I get fully drained — not after.
