About this episode

Alex Baker shares his journey of resilience after losing his wife to cancer and his efforts to raise funds for cancer research through his nonprofit.

After losing wife in 2019 to colorectal cancer, Alex Baker has taken to fight back against cancer. Using his equal hatred of ketchup and cancer, he has started a movement in the running community. As a 5x charity marathoner who has raised more than $42,000 for cancer research, he has now founded his own nonprofit, Ketchup to Cancer. In it, Alex aims to catch up to cancer by supporting charity runners who are raising money to fund cancer research.
