About this episode

Emma Jaulin discusses the challenges of managing a busy family life while launching her new business, The Visible Load, aimed at alleviating mental load.

I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to have the mental headspace for a moment to be back here with you recording a podcast for your ears. As much as it is hopefully helpful for you, this is absolute therapy for me and I miss it so much! This month is the busiest month of the year possible for us as a family and for me with my new business. We have on average 1 birthday a week in May within the wider family and it is all go. Cake baking, celebrations, gift buying along with sports day, half term, bank holidays! How one is meant to actually fit work into all of that, the only way I can make it work is bed time after 2.30am. This week has also been the busiest business wise, after a year of building, The Visible Load is live. In this episode I'm sharing everything: What The Visible Load is and why I built it Why I think it might be the thing that finally helps with the mental load that never switches off. Dot, the AI at the heart of the app who checks in with you Why I built this as a web app so it improves constantly without you having to wait for updates The honest truth about where the app is right now and where it's going This is early days and you are part of building it…
