We did something a little different for our mid-season bonus and honestly it might be our favorite thing we've ever recorded. Sara and Caleigh brought actual kids into the studio and just asked them stuff. What do adults get wrong about kids and movement? What makes PE fun or miserable? What would you tell grownups about fitness? No coaching, no prompting. Just real answers from real kids. The themes that came through were pretty clear: the kids don't care about the structure. They care about having a say. Being signed up for something without being asked, getting thrown into an activity two days before it starts, having adults too tired or too busy to just go outside — that's what they noticed. One of them had strong feelings about Workout Wednesday. One has very strong opinions about the pacer test. And one is extremely loyal to Casey's pepperoni pizza.
