This sermon encourages believers to support one another in achieving the promises of faith, inspired by the example of Joshua and the tribes of Israel.
As Joshua takes command of the people, he calls the tribes who had received land east of the Jordan River to keep their promise to help their brothers secure their inheritance. They respond in obedience, affirming their commitment to go with their brothers and submit to Joshua's leadership. In this sermon, we are exhorted, following their example, to aid our brothers and sisters of the faith to attain all the precious promises in Christ.
