Pastor Ben discusses how Jesus provides paths to joy, God's will, and peace in the context of the Upper Room Discourse.
This week, Pastor Ben continues preaching the Upper Room Discourse in John 16:16-33. Jesus understands how the disciples are struggling to understand His message, and He knows how to help them. Yet they won't truly understand how their sorrow in His death will turn to permanent joy until He rises from the dead. Just like the disciples, the peace and rest we need is only found in Him. Jesus provides a path to unexpected joy. (v16-22) Jesus provides a path to God's will. (v23-28) Jesus provides a path to permanent peace. (v29-33)
