Trump: ‘We Are Taking Over the Strait’; EU Foreign Ministers Discuss New Russia Sanctions

President Trump said on Monday the U.S. is “taking over” the Strait of Hormuz from Iran. Speaking to ‘Fox & Friends’ the President saying: “We're taking over the strait. They have nothing. They've got nothing.” He said the U.S. held meetings with Iran for 11 hours on Sunday “and everything was agreed to” but Iran later demanded changes. EU countries have yet to reach agreement on a broad 21st package of sanctions against Russia, but may decide on Monday (July 13) to add 250 individuals and entities to their Russia sanctions list, EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas said.
