Pro Snowboarder Brantley Mullins Talks Starting in the Sport, Dolly Parton & Embracing Fear

March 24, 2026 · 25 min · Episode 94

About this episode

Pro snowboarder Brantley Mullins discusses her journey in the sport, her passion for street style snowboarding, and her thoughts on female participation in the sport.

Not many people would describe themselves as "a southern girl looking for colder weather," but Brantley Mullins does. The professional snowboarder grew up riding in North Carolina but has since gone pro and moved out to Salt Lake City. She competes in street style snowboarding or urban snowboarding (think: sliding on rails, jumping off things, etc). She competes in different cities in Red Bull Heavy Metal competitions (she did say Boston was unlike anywhere else!) Today she talks about how she got into the sport, what drew her to street style, what it feels like to see more girls dipping their toes in it, Dolly Parton (yes, the country music icon!), traveling & more!
