About this episode

The episode features a conversation about the importance of maintaining a relationship with Jesus amidst the busyness of ministry and pioneering work.

This might be my favorite conversation with Chuck Wood II yet. We talk about my last post, Pioneers Aren’t Busy: https://pheaney.substack.com/p/pioneers-arent-busy Quotes: The trap we can fall into when we're in ministry and when we're pioneering is assuming that whatever we're doing is what we should be doing. Am I too busy to meet with Jesus? If you're not meeting with Jesus each day, you know, it's going to end poorly because He is the vine. We are the branches. We get our power, our sustenance, our motivation, our encouragement from him. So if we're too busy to be attached to the vine, we're too busy. I would say what we're involved in when it comes to the work of making disciples is people work. And people work requires that you got to be with people... Spreadsheets don't push back and get pneumonia and are late for school and they don't take Scripture out of context. Season 9: On Pioneering/How to Stick, Episode 14 This is a public episode.
