This episode features the original soundboard recording of The Rolling Stones' iconic concert album 'GET YER YA-YA'S OUT!' from 1969.
Arguably the greatest rock 'n' roll concert album is The Rolling Stones' GET YER YA-YAs OUT! recording from 1969's Madison Squrae Garden shows. Post-concert overdubbing was done, from what I've heard, to about half the songs, mostly Mock & Keith's vocals and Keith's gutar work (but some of you may have more info). This is the original soundboard recording of engineer Glyn Johns's Raw Demo (aka "no overdubbing"), from both shows at Madison Square Garden in NYC, November 27 & 28, 1969, and at the Baltimore Civic Center on November 26, 1969.
