Youth sports have become a second job, our kids have access to everything at the click of a button, beauty standards are completely out of control, and somehow we are all supposed to keep up while giving ourselves grace as we age. This week Kate and Anne are having the honest conversation about where we think society has lost the plot — and what we think we can actually do about it. No judgment, just two moms who love their kids and are trying to figure it out along the way. Everything is not awful: Kelsey rowed solo from California to Hawaii and we cannot stop talking about it because if that is not the ultimate reminder that humans are capable of absolutely anything we do not know what is. Tech Tip: The UK just made it official — children under 16 are banned from social media. Platforms are now required to verify ages and prevent underage users from creating accounts. This is a significant move and one that has a lot of parents in the US asking why we are not doing the same thing here.
