In this episode, I interview Ray Howard, who shares a series of incredible encounters from his childhood growing up on a farm along the Green River in Kentucky. What began as brief sightings of a massive bipedal creature moving along the tree line quickly escalated into something far more personal and unexplainable. In 1975, after being thrown from a horse and injured in a briar thicket, Ray came face to face with what he believes was a female Sasquatch. The creature approached him slowly, squatted down, and attempted to calm him. Ray describes the being as over 7 feet tall, with reddish hair across the shoulders and jet black along the back, a conical-shaped head, sunken eyes, and a human-like face. What makes this encounter even more disturbing—and fascinating—is what Ray describes as “mind speak.” He says the creature communicated with him directly, telling him not to be afraid, while he felt an overwhelming sense of peace.
