About this episode
Bee Leask shares her journey from Munro bagging to becoming a qualified mountain leader, discussing her experiences and the importance of inclusivity in the outdoor industry.
Really excited to be joined by Bee Leask on today’s episode, an adventurer and qualified mountain leader from Scotland. She shares how growing up in the Shetland islands created a sense of freedom, ease and forever bond with the outdoors. Bee started her Munro-bagging journey, right alongside the early days of social media, and documented her adventure. We talk about this journey opening her mind to new sports, including ultra running, experiences she never thought she would do, and meeting incredible people. Since then, she’s gone on to become a Mountain Leader, and we talk about what it means to now guide others and share her passion for the mountains. We also chat about the industry, looking at the progress that’s been made, and what still needs to be done to create a more inclusive space. I hope you enjoy this episode!
