Series: “Thus Saith The Lord” Sermon: “Listening To The Spirit” The good news is not Jesus and it is not that you get to go to heaven. The good news (GOSPEL) is that God became a man to establish His kingdom on earth. John 8:47 (AMP) “Whoever is of God listens to God. [Those who belong to God hear the words of God.]” The greatest qualification for the next season may not be talent, knowledge, or influence—but the ability to hear. God governs His kingdom through revelation knowledge. Heaven's agenda reaches earth through hearers who SPEAK. 1 Timothy 1:18 “This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare,…” Prophecy (prophēteuō):— to speak forth by divine inspiration. Prophecy is simply heaven revealing itself through human vessels. It is God's thoughts becoming audible in the earth. Genesis 1:26 (AMP) “...let them have complete authority ...over all of the earth,…” Matthew 6:9-10 “Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come.
