Dr. Lesli Bell is a highly respected clinician, educator, and innovator who has dedicated nearly 30 years to the field of lymphology. She is widely recognized as a pioneer in the management of breast cancer–related lymphedema and fibrosis, helping to advance both clinical practice and professional education worldwide. For more than 25 years, Dr. Bell has taught advanced therapeutic techniques nationally and internationally, significantly contributing to the training of lymphedema therapists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. In 2001, she co-developed the Bellise Compressure Comfort Bra (distributed by Jobst Essity), a specialized garment designed to address chest and breast lymphedema with the functional properties of short-stretch compression. Her work has played a key role in bringing greater clinical attention to the often-overlooked issue of breast edema.
