About this episode

The episode discusses President Trump's firing of two Democratic commissioners from the U.S. Election Assistance Commission and the implications of this action.

President Trump has not indicated whether he plans to nominate replacements. The White House said the Supreme Court’s  recent ruling  affirming the president’s power to remove leaders of independent agencies established precedent for the firings. Ad-free podcasts are here!
